Carstairs Heritage Centre

The Carstairs Heritage Centre, operated by the Carstairs & District Historical Society, offers visitors a chance to rediscover themselves as they explore the rich stories of Carstairs, Southern Alberta, and the Canadian West. Calling upon its collection of over 4,000 artifacts, the museum interprets the vibrant heritage of the region intertwined within the fabric of Canadian History.

Winter Hours

September to June

Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Summer Hours

June, July & August

Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Sunday Noon - 4:00 p.m.

Admission by donation.

Visitor Information Centre

The Visitor Information Centre is now located at the Carstairs Heritage Centre. Information on campground guides, holiday brochures, and scenic road trips can be found here.
