ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – VETERANS WAY
Please be advised that Veterans Way will be closed on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the 8th Annual Show & Shine.
Road Closures:
- Veterans Way from Gough Road to Hammond Street - Nanton Street, just past the Carstairs Heritage Centre
Please follow all posted detour routes.

Garbage & Recycling Pickup – Friday August 21 - Mandalay Blvd & Mandalay Link
A reminder to residents of Mandalay Blvd and Mandalay Link that paving work will be taking place in the area.
For garbage and recycling pickup on Friday, August 21, please place your bins at the edge of your property where they can be easily accessed.
Town Operations staff will be in the area to assist the garbage and recycling driver with moving the bins, helping to ensure that pickup is not disrupted during the paving work.
