Town of Carstairs - Property Assessment Requests for Information
Municipal Assessment Services Group Inc. (MASG) has sent Requests for Information (RFI) letters to selected property owners and occupiers.
These requests help ensure property information is accurate, current, and complete to support fair and equitable property assessments. Questions may relate to property use, occupancy, construction, renovations, or other assessment information.
If you receive a letter: • Follow the instructions to respond online by the stated deadline. • Please respond even if nothing has changed at your property. • Receiving a request does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your property or its assessment, or that its assessed value will increase.
Your response & privacy: These requests are issued under Section 295(1) of Alberta’s Municipal Government Act, which requires requested information necessary for the assessor’s duties to be provided. Information collected will be protected, used, and disclosed in accordance with that Act, Alberta's Protection of Privacy Act, and other applicable legal requirements.
