2026 Property Tax Assessments Assessment notices are sent before property tax notices, giving owners 60 days to review their property’s value and details and raise any concerns before taxes are calculated.

Reviewing Your Assessment 1. Review your property information: Make sure the description of the property is accurate. 2. Contact the assessor if you think information is incorrect. If you have spoken with an assessor and still believe your assessment is incorrect, submit a complaint to the Assessment Review Board: The deadline for filing a complaint with the assessment review board is noted on the assessment notice.
2026 Property Tax Information
Your 2026 Tax Assessment was mailed/emailed out on March 3, 2026. Please watch for yours over the next couple of weeks. If you signed up for E-Notice please watch your Inbox and check your Junk Mail in case you do not have finance@carstairs.ca on your safe senders list. Final date for Complaint is May 11, 2026. For concerns regarding your assessed value, contact the Town Assessor Travis Horne of Municipal Assessment Services Group Inc. at 780.939.3310.
